Trip to Aquileia

A trip to Aquileia, a very old marshland settlement, with a Roman 
period of seven centuries starting from 181 B.C., is being organized 
for ICTP visitors on Saturday 26 August 2006.  The half-day visit will 
include a guided tour in English of all of Aquileia's main points of 
interest. The whole tour is free except 2.50 euro entrance for the 
optional visit of the crypt.  A bus will take participants free of 
charge from Grignano, near the bus stop of the 36 at 9:00, and return
